Sunday was another successful studio day. I made up the breathing machine and photographed it as the top panel for my Deep Sea Diver.
Today was varnish day for the first two panels to my Diver image.
This weekends I made the first installment to my Adventure stories.
This evenings project was to make a photo tray that will actually accommodate a 20×24 sheet of glass. The factory manufactured trays have rounded corners inhibiting a rigid piece of glass from resting safely on the bottom. Isn’t anything straight forward and ready to use?
Today was the first time that I had gotten everything together and ready to give the 20×24 a trial run.
Monday was a trial run/brainstorm session for upcoming workshops at John Dugdale’s School of 19th century Photography and Aesthetics. If all goes as planned classes will begin 2011.
I began construction of my 20×24 silver bath this evening. As if I didn’t feel cramped enough in my apartment I have the urge to make large photographs……and with that comes the equipment.
Just finished converting a few of the 8×10 sheet film holders to accept an 8×10 sheet of glass. Should be fun showing John Dugdale how they work.
Rainy day activities: Cleaning, Food shopping and Creating my long overdue website.
